Romano Sala Tenna, BBus (Distinctions), ASIA

Investment Manager

Romano has a Bachelor of Business (With Distinction) from Curtin University, a post-graduate diploma in Applied Investment Analysis and Finance with the Securities Institute of Australia (SIA), and has additional accreditation in Derivatives, Managed Products and Superannuation. He is a past lead lecturer at the SIA and the ASX, and currently lectures at the Institute of Securities Banking and Finance.

Romano spent 7 years in corporate superannuation with Alcoa, before making the transition to private client advising in October 1996. He is a senior dealer with Australia’s largest retail stockbroker, Bell Potter Securities Limited.

Romano has been investing personally for 11 years and advising professionally for the past 9 years.

Brad Shallard, BBus, CPA, ASIA

Investment Manager

Brad has a Bachelor of Business (Acc) with RMIT, a post-graduate diploma in Applied Investment Analysis with the SIA and is a fully qualified CPA. In addition, Brad has completed the Diploma of Financial Planning and has additional accreditation in Derivative products.

Brad spent 2 years working as a tax agent before moving into Financial Planning. After spending 2 years as a Financial Planner, Brad made the transition into Stockbroking in September of 1995, and is one of Bell Potter Securities’ leading dealers.

Brad has been investing personally for in excess of 12 years and advising professionally for 10 years.

Matthew Ward, BSc Econs (Hons), CA, ACA

Investment Manager

Matthew holds an Honours Degree in Economics and is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and in England and Wales. He has completed a range of courses including a Harvard commercial management course and qualified as a member of the Institute of Company Directors. Matthew has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

During his 9 years in the accounting profession, Matthew completed a broad range of assignments for KPMG in London and Johannesburg before transitioning into investment evaluation and commercial advisory work in Senior Commercial Management roles for large corporates. He has also held senior analytical and investment management roles in stockbroking and in funds management over the last 6 years in Australia.

Along with strategic and economic analysis, Matthew has investment experience in a wide range of sectors including financial services, industrial and resource services, retail, property, funds management, oil and gas and hard rock mining.

Matthew has been investing personally for in excess of 15 years and professionally for the past 6 years.
